\n\u2022 Monitor and ensure optimal resource allocation amongst the underwriters
\n\u2022 Monitor the performance of Underwriters in accordance with the ATI Staff Policy Manual
\n\u2022 Assist the CUO in the production of reports as and when required
\n\u2022 Generate business through marketing activities and increasing the visibility of ATI.
\n\u2022 This involves meeting one-on-one with clients and prospects and attending different
\nmarketing events organized by ATI or ATI\u2019s business partners
\n\u2022 Assist to organize\/manage awareness events in countries of responsibility
\n\u2022 Screening business enquiries based on eligibility criteria;
\n\u2022 Assess the risks of the proposed transactions and produce a report of the risk to convince approvers to accept the risk;
\n\u2022 Issue non-binding\/indicative term sheets
\n\u2022 Arrange reinsurance for transactions requiring reinsurance support
\n\u2022 Preparation of policy documents
\n\u2022 Educating policy holders on the A-Z of the policy they are about to sign
\n\u2022 Managing and monitoring the underwritten risk \u2013 Support and guide the Post Contract Management Officer
\n\u2022 Any other duties as may be assigned by the CUO from time to time<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A thorough technical expertise and underwriting experience in commercial and political risk insurance, surety bond and banking products
\n\u2022 A minimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in project finance, banking, finance and insurance with at least 3 years\u2019 experience in a leadership or supervisory role
\n\u2022 A sound understanding of reinsurance markets and mechanisms
\n\u2022 International experience in ATI member States and\/or countries with a similar<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Excellent report writing skills
\n\u2022 Proficiency in MS Office suite of packages
\n\u2022 Fluency in written and spoken English
\n\u2022 Operational French is a major advantage<\/p>\n
