\nresponsible for the following:<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Propose improvements in the underwriting guidelines based on claims and other experiences
\n\u2022 Provide technical support to the underwriting and accounts departments in all phases of claims handling
\n\u2022 Maintain records and provide file and data management of losses reported and claims paid
\n\u2022 Provide analytical, and technical support in claims management.
\n\u2022 Put in place a system for managing individual and portfolio exposures.
\n\u2022 Measure financial impact of claims and recommend appropriate actions to avoid, retain or transfer the risk
\n\u2022 Periodic assessment of underwritten risks.
\n\u2022 Provide analytical and technical support on all claims and determine their accuracy.
\n\u2022 Collect accurate information and documents for claims analysis
\n\u2022 Forecasting of prepayments, delinquencies, and defaults
\n\u2022 Project and calculate expected losses for setting loss reserves
\n\u2022 Undertaking baseline analysis of risk exposures and insurance coverage.
\n\u2022 Design and maintain loss reports and monitor claim trends.
\n\u2022 Communicate with clients, obligors, banks and all other interested parties in claim processing
\n\u2022 Review and negotiate changes in policy wording based on claims experiences.
\n\u2022 Prepare specifications for improvements of the underwriting system related to the above
\n\u2022 Organize the filing for over-dues and claims<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A Master Degree in a related field is an added advantage
\n\u2022 Professional Certification is highly preferred<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Knowledge of French is an added advantage
\n\u2022 Extensive experience with legal documents used in the insurance and banking industry
\n\u2022 Extensive experience with common and commercial law
\n\u2022 Experience with debt collection and claims management
\n\u2022 Expert knowledge of credit bureau data and products
\n\u2022 Ability to provide financial and insurance accounting support
\n\u2022 Over 3-years\u2019 experience in insurance claims management
\n\u2022 Good communication and negotiation skills
\n\u2022 Strong organizational skills
\n\u2022 Outstanding analytical skills
\n\u2022 Willingness to travel<\/p>\n
