We believe in investing in the development of our people using state of the art equipment coupled with the world\u2019s best practice and you have an opportunity to work with a leading international underground mining contractor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Technical Services Superintendent\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are actively seeking a<strong>\u00a0Technical Services Superintendents<\/strong>\u00a0to join us in our International Mining Operations. This role is responsible for assisting Project Managers and Mine Foreman using your strong technical mining experience with a solutions orientated approach, interpret and analyze mining physicals to drive efficiencies and optimize our operation and to integrate with the client technical services department.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an individual with boundless energy, a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude towards the role that is responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract and client schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure an intimate understanding of the site contract, variations, and management plans and ensure that AUMS is compliant with these requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure client requirements are met contractually and maintain a robust and favorable relationship with the client.<\/li>\n<li>Development, mentoring and on-going review of the performance of the Technical Services Team including graduate engineers<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Production monitoring and liaise with the Operations Team to optimize project deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Review mining schedules, plans and designs as required and monitor progress, manning levels and productivity analysis including budget and costs<\/li>\n<li>Weekly and Monthly performance reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Quality Assurance and compliance<\/li>\n<li>Assists with the preparation of monthly claims and interface with our Client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key requirements for the successful candidate include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mining Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First Class Mine Managers (FCMM) Certificate of Competency.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to influence and engage with operational personnel, with good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong observation and analytical skills that translate to improvements across the maintenance function.<\/li>\n<li>Highly experienced with the information management system and reporting tools (e.g. Pronto) including valuing the importance of information security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your proactive attitude to safety and driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee in line with AUMS\u2019s values and \u2018can do\u2019 attitude, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package completing our vision of a work-life balance in a strong team environment.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol, and site-specific clearances.\u00a0A National Police Clearance and any necessary tickets or qualifications are required to be presented at the time of the interview.
