The IT Manager reports to the Assistant General Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0IT Manager\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Information Technology (IT) and Computer systems to meet the requirements of the Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Determine the IT needs of the Hotel, and implement processes and strategies to meet them.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the overall staff operations of the IT Department.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure security of data, network ad backup systems.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop, implement and coordinate policies, systems and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Preserve assets, information security and control structures.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and manage departmental budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Audit systems and assess their outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Compile reports on departmental operations, issues and suggestions.<\/li>\n<li>Train departmental staff as often as needed to meet the standards of the Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Update the Hotel on industry trends, techniques and information to meet the agreed standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent ICT skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexibility to work on shifts, night-hours, weekends and holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer software and hardware.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with computer networks, network installations and network administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 experience in the required field or similar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">All CVs, application letters and other required documents (photocopies of certificates) must be forwarded to\u00a0<strong>hr@rockcityhotelgh.com<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note:\u00a0This job vacancy offers a 1-year fixed-term contract that is renewable based on performance.<\/li>\n<li>The deadline for the application is\u00a0<strong>February 5, 2020<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IT Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading computer-related activities in the Hotel.
