The Governing body, formulate policies which are implemented by staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Marketing Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reports To:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Business Development Manager<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Head Office (Accra), (Founders\u2019 Centre)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), an NGO and a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and a leading provider of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) education and services, hereby invites result-oriented and committed persons to apply for the following vacant position to be filled in the Association<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be responsible for all marketing strategies and activities within the Association and provide direction and feedback on major projects and ventures.<\/li>\n<li>Make key decisions regarding product distribution, budgeting, branding, and sales<\/li>\n<li>Works with other officers to set the overall direction and objectives for product and service offerings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the name, product, and service of the unit through effective Marketing and Resource mobilization strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics and other information that affects marketing strategies in order to establish the best way to reach target groups<\/li>\n<li>Use the research findings and analysis to provide direction to marketing to SMT through the supervisor regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services, and overall strategy<\/li>\n<li>Identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities to create brand awareness<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with the supervisor, approves all marketing campaigns and plans before they are implemented.<\/li>\n<li>Weigh in on important decisions involving product advertising, packaging, media channels and branding<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the Association\u2019s presence.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and communicate through the Association\u2019s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system<\/li>\n<li>Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels.<\/li>\n<li>See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the Unit\u2019s budget and ensure all marketing activities are cost-effective<\/li>\n<li>Monitor marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the client\u2019s expectation and service demands are met and delivered in time.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring quality control for all job orders.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Manager to prepare job dockets.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the department\u2019s budget and ensures all marketing activities are cost-effective.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth<\/li>\n<li>Welcome visitors to the unit and assist them in the purpose of their visit.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that in-coming mails to the Managers outfit are sorted and duly dealt with.<\/li>\n<li>Work with other company officers to establish budgets and marketing objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good first degree in Marketing OR Professional qualification OR its equivalent in related field with a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience. A secretarial background will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Person Must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have very good communication and report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Be honest, transparent, reliable and duty-conscious with good looking personality<\/li>\n<li>Have a high sense of responsibility, humor, be judgmental and able to take initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Be a team player and self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work for long hours<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent human relations skills and be youth-friendly.<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to\u00a0 source for information and initiate innovative strategies for enhanced performance<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work with little or no supervision<\/li>\n<li>Be able to travel at short notice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">All interested persons with requisite qualification(s), should kindly send their Application Letters with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), including two referees, their email addresses and cell phone numbers to:\u00a0<strong>The Search Committee Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) P.O.
