IPA designs, rigorously evaluates, and refines these solutions and their applications together with decision-makers to ensure that the evidence created is used to improve opportunities for the world\u2019s poor.<br \/>\nThe Strengthening Targeted Instruction for Implementation at Scale (STARS) Project is an educational project to carried out in 21 districts in 7 regions; Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Volta, Eastern, Greater Accra and Central regions. STARS is looking to recruit Qualitative field staff on a short-term contract of 3 weeks to carry out qualitiative survey in its schools\/districts.<br \/>\nThe Qualitative Facilitator shall conduct In-depth Interviews and Focus Group Discussion in all assigned schools.<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct In-depth Interviews and Focus Group Discussions<\/li>\n<li>Take good notes during the discussions<\/li>\n<li>Transcribe the audio-tapped discussions in to word for further analysis<\/li>\n<li>Live within assigned districts during the period of the survey;<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all IPA survey and data protocols;<\/li>\n<li>Perform other Duties related to the project that may be assigned to him\/her;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have Higher National Diploma (HND), first degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution with at least one-year field\/data collection experience<\/li>\n<li>Should be able to coordinate an IDI or FGD<\/li>\n<li>Should possess good listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Should be able do detailed transcription of audio files<\/li>\n<li>Must have excellent writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Should possess good note-taking and typing skills<\/li>\n<li>Should be deadline oriented<\/li>\n<li>Should be familiar with Computer Assisted Interview (CAI) or keen to learn<\/li>\n<li>Should be fluent in English<\/li>\n<li>Should be fluent and able to translate questionnaire in any of the language requirement of the chosen district.<\/li>\n<li>Should be good at using Microsoft Office; Excel and word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a United States-based non-profit organization dedicated to discovering, and promoting effective solutions to global poverty problems.
