The Polytechnic is an equal opportunity institution and runs programmes that challenge learners to be creative, innovative and morally responsible citizens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: SECURITY GUARDS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in keeping the security situation under constant review<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in the preparation of reports and statements on criminal cases<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in the maintenance of record of the Security Office<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patrol around the institution\u2019s offices, classrooms, hostel and residential areas<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Respond to emergencies without delay<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must have professional training in security work<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must not be above forty (40) years old<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must possess SSSCE\/VVASSSCE or equivalent<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must have attained the rank of Corporal in the Police Service or equiva\u00adlent status in the Prison Service\/Armed Forces with a clean record<\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Interested qualified applicants may download Application Forms from the Polytechnic&#8217;s website\u00a0<strong>below\u00a0<\/strong>for completion.
