The Polytechnic is an equal opportunity institution and runs programmes that challenge learners to be creative, innovative and morally responsible citizens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SECURITY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: CHIEF SECURITY ASSISTANT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shall perform the duties of Principal Security Assistant at a higher level of responsibility;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Classifying and arranging stock items;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assisting in supervision, training and maintaining discipline among the Security Assistants and staff of lower grades;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assisting in keeping records of office consumables; and<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate must have<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A relevant Bachelor\u2019s degree awarded by a recog\u00adnized institution with a minimum of 11 years; post qualification expenence<\/p>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Attained the rank of Assistant Superintendent in the Police Service, Prison Service or an equivalent rank in the Armed Forces (Lieutenant) with a clean record;<\/p>\n<p class=\"how-to-apply\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested qualified applicants may download Application Forms from the Polytechnic&#8217;s website\u00a0<strong>below\u00a0<\/strong>for completion.
