{"id":45047,"date":"2020-02-17T09:22:18","date_gmt":"2020-02-17T09:22:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=45047"},"modified":"2020-02-17T09:22:18","modified_gmt":"2020-02-17T09:22:18","slug":"pencils-of-promise-vacancies-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/pencils-of-promise-vacancies-2020.html","title":{"rendered":"Pencils of Promise Vacancies 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Collection of educational statistics such as students\u2019 enrolment<\/li>\n<li>Collection of enrolment data<\/li>\n<li>Implementing literacy tests to measure the English literacy skills of Primary age students.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting structured observations of school and classroom-related activities.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting any other form of the qualitative or quantitative survey as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Learning And Evaluation Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Inputting and Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inputting all information in a timely manner in our CRM platform, Salesforce<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning data in Salesforce<\/li>\n<li>Inputting all information in a timely manner in electronic databases in Google Drive or Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring all information in the databases to ensure complete and quality data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Data Reporting and Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting in reporting key findings to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the creation or improvement of L&amp;E tools to best measure the impact of our work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to ride a motorbike<\/li>\n<li>Be able to communicate in Ewe and Twi<\/li>\n<li>Additional responsibilities as assigned by Country Director to support the achievement of organizational goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND\/Bachelor\u2019s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Development, Education or a related field<\/li>\n<li>At least one year of experience in education, NGOs or related field<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with rural communities strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience conducting interviews, surveys, test administration preferred<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of statistical methods preferred<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, ability to take initiative, and manage his\/her own workload<\/li>\n<li>Extremely strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Community mobilization and engagement skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to ride motorcycle is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable communicating in both Ewe and English languages required; Twi preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u200bComputer skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A high level use of the following technology is required:<\/li>\n<li>Computers<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)<\/li>\n<li>Internet and email<\/li>\n<li>Google Drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Send CV and Cover letter to\u00a0<strong>ghana@pencilsofpromise.org<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Collection of educational statistics such as students\u2019 enrolment Collection of enrolment data Implementing literacy tests to measure the English literacy skills of Primary age students.
