We use our unique insights and knowledge to educate individual participants and whole departments and organizations in specifics as well as general process and system improvement opportunities to add value and maximise returns.<\/p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineer within our organization. We are looking for a mining engineering graduate to complement our existing project staff at one of our clients\u2019 sites in Ghana in the\u00a0 Central Region.<\/p>\n<p>You will be working under our project leaders and liaising with our client to produce, analyse and report drilling data and information which will influence decision making and outcomes of the project directly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Junior Engineer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicant should have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mining or Drill and Blast engineer degree or equivalent from qualified institution<\/li>\n<li>High level of understanding of Microsoft Office suite<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work remotely on a mine site<\/li>\n<li>Able to work with limited supervision<\/li>\n<li>High level communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn Project Management software<\/li>\n<li>Be open and willing to learn new skills<\/li>\n<li>Be able to take instruction and implement effectively<\/li>\n<li>Be creative in problems solving situations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily input and analysis of drilling data<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with client and project staff on project status and direction<\/li>\n<li>Correlation of client data and actual events<\/li>\n<li>Producing daily, weekly and monthly drilling and project status reports<\/li>\n<li>Learning the Drill and Blast process from Project Leaders<\/li>\n<li>Act as an assistant to project leaders<\/li>\n<li>Forecasting consumables, parts etc consumption based on historical data<\/li>\n<li>Calculating impact of different operating models, for example using TIM 3D in reducing tramming time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About the general position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a person who is interested in new opportunities and working for an innovative company that likes to do things a little different than normal.
