{"id":45344,"date":"2020-02-25T17:47:12","date_gmt":"2020-02-25T17:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=45344"},"modified":"2020-02-25T17:47:41","modified_gmt":"2020-02-25T17:47:41","slug":"national-pensions-regulatory-authority-jobs-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/national-pensions-regulatory-authority-jobs-2020.html","title":{"rendered":"National Pensions Regulatory Authority Jobs 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<strong>National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA)<\/strong>\u00a0is seeking to recruit competent and well-qualified persons to fill the following position of<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER (PROCUREMENT) HEAD OFFICE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide operational support in procurement for the achievement of the objectives of the Authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collates data for the formulation of policies of the Authority\u00a0Supervises the preparation and implementation of the\u00a0procurement plan of the Authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collates data for the preparation of the budget of the Unit.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises the implementation of programs and activities of the<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates the effective management of tender processes.<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with Service Providers in the management of contracts and procurement transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Unit.<\/li>\n<li>Collates data for the preparation of contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates negotiations with suppliers and service providers. Facilitates the disposal of assets.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises the effective and efficient management of stores Ensures the efficient documentation and maintenance of procurement records.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises and appraises the performance of subordinate staff. Performs any other assignment relevant to the role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification<\/strong><strong>\u00a0and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a Master\u2019s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain\u00a0Management or any related field from an accredited tertiary institution.<\/li>\n<li>A member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS)<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of one (1)-year post-qualification (Professional \/ Master\u2019s degree) relevant work experience in a reputable organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed National Service.<\/li>\n<li>Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by NPRA, in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act &amp; Public Financial Management Act.<\/li>\n<li>Very Good knowledge and experience in procurement management.<\/li>\n<li>Good quantitative, qualitative and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good Communication, presentation and Interpersonal skills.
