Your typical task is to take a topic and follow a series of steps to produce accurate, relevant, and well-written content that is captivating and produces the required results.<\/p>\n<p>These steps include researching and analyzing the issue to generate ideas and obtain relevant facts; writing and collaborating with other writers to produce a draft; and revising, editing, and proofreading the content to ensure quality. You will be producing a wide variety of materials, which include ads, emails, websites, blog entries, papers, articles, and mainly\u00a0<b>digital, social media content postings<\/b>, among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Marketing Communications Content Developer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your typical day includes producing a new copy, meeting with other writers to jointly write copy or brainstorm ideas, editing material, and meeting with other departments, especially product development and visual\/graphic arts.<\/p>\n<p>Marketing Communications Content Developer<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write, edit and publish content for the copy, captions, web, mailings, and other formats.<\/li>\n<li>You will be actively involved in\u00a0creating marketing strategies\u00a0for developing content.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and adjust content to fit with brand guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to and adjust the content calendar to reflect strategy and availability.<\/li>\n<li>Translate business objectives and strategy into compelling written content for specific audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Position Overview:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On\u00a0Professional Development Program\u2013 our Zeine &amp; Ata Tech Media Fellowship<\/li>\n<li>Full time and with the goal to be permanent<\/li>\n<li>Most projects will be focused on achieving\u00a0<b>noticeably remarkable and portfolio-worthy results<\/b>\u00a0for our 5+ group companies, and third party clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The variety: you will get a diversity of\u00a0<b>four types of work<\/b>, as listed below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First is\u00a0<b>marketing focused writing<\/b>\u00a0such as web site text, video scripts, brochures, and portfolio case studies. This involves clearly relaying what a product is about in sales collateral, why a potential customer should buy or pay for something, why its better than the competition, or why an industry should care in the case of press releases.<\/li>\n<li>Second is\u00a0<b>edgy advertising scripts and long-form blog posts<\/b>, the kind that our in-house video production crew can turn into share-worthy advertisements that evoke emotion or that captivate readers.<\/li>\n<li>Thirdly,\u00a0<b>miscellaneous<\/b>\u00a0communications such as internal and external speech-writing for our executives, editing high-value email communications, internal training documents for various departments, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Fourth is\u00a0<b>assisting the sales team<\/b>\u00a0with the marketing elements of their sales proposals and building up a library of snippets for them to use..<\/li>\n<li>Gain further\u00a0<b>experience<\/b>\u00a0with both small short-term and large long-term briefs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with our marketing project manager, graphic designer, UX designers, executives, and sales personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in\u00a0<b>constructive debate<\/b>\u00a0to challenge your writing; standing up for your choices, while being willing to use respectful criticism, with or without the sugar coating, to iterate into even better results.<\/li>\n<li>An open environment that allows for collaborations and team relationships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masterful English skills.<\/li>\n<li>A deep appreciation of the psychology that goes behind convincing writing and publicity.<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about writing<\/li>\n<li>Keen about the world and effect of social media<\/li>\n<li>Can be very convincing and exciting within your writing.<\/li>\n<li>Get deeply involved with challenges and will persevere at length to achieve victory.<\/li>\n<li>Takes pride in work.<\/li>\n<li><b>No<\/b>\u00a0specific requirements for formal education or industry experience.
