It ensures a multidisciplinary approach to programmes, identifies priority areas of action for the Organization in the Region and, in collaboration with departments and divisions at headquarters, develops, promotes and oversees FAO\u2019s strategic response to regional priorities.<\/p>\n<p>The RAF Human Resources Unit facilitates the implementation of FAO human resources policies, procedures and services in RAF. It advises senior management on appropriate measures and strategies to ensure that FAO decentralised offices in sub-Saharan Africa attract, develop and retain a diverse, skilled and highly motivated workforce. The RAF HR Unit works in close coordination with the Office of Human Resources (OHR) and the Shared Service Centre (CSS) to ensure consistency, quality, compliance, efficiency and effectiveness in all HR-related activities, from hiring through to separation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0French Language Teacher<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FAO Subscribers to Personal Services Agreements (PSAs)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Organization frequently engages individuals to perform task-based assignments for which FAO has a temporary need. PSAs are neither staff members nor officials of the Organization, but rather are employed as independent, external contractors. Assignments are specific regarding the objectives that need to be achieved and must be achievable within the time-frame of the proposed contract.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the VA is to attract talented individuals with experience and background in teaching French as a foreign language.
