\n\u2022Supervise daily ore mining and ensure mining is done to geological standards (i.e. HW \u2192 FW, sheeting in ore, ore loss and dilution).
\n\u2022Supervise and direct blast hole drilling sequence.
\n\u2022Implement and monitor blast movement designs in the field.
\n\u2022Conduct blast hole logging and capture structural mapping data in the pit.
\n\u2022Track ore material movement in the field and ensure it is captured correctly in the dispatch system.
\n\u2022Support STP to deliver the required feed grade to mill through accurate stockpiling and efficient blending.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Conduct daily drill dig on-site visits to determine the rate of progression against specified targets and ensure drilling activity is carried out in line with Newmont\u2019s Safety Standards.
\n\u2022Carry out geological logging of drill holes including geotechnical and structural data capture<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Capture all geological field data (core drilling, RC drilling, blasthole, density, grab samples,\u00a0 mapping, moisture content etc)
\n\u2022Supervise QAQC field sample collection process.
\n\u2022Assist with lab audit reviews<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every employee under or assigned to his\/her supervision.
\n\u2022Provide hands-on assistance during operations activities and ensuring that safe work practices are followed.
\n\u2022Abide by and ensure geological technicians carry out activities according to Newmont\u2019s Health and Safety principles.<\/p>\n
