Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist<\/p>\n

  1. This request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Nov 6, 2005.<\/li>\n
  2. The Social Investment Fund has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) for UA 25 million (about USD 37.5 million) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contracts for consultancy services for the “Recruitment of an Individual Consultant for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (MES)” for the Urban Poverty Reduction Project II (UPRP II) which is implemented by the Social Investment Fund (SIF) of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The position is at the SIF Offices, Accra. The MES\u00a0will report directly to the SIF Executive Director

    \nObjective:
    \n<\/strong>The main objective of the assignment is to ensure proper targeting and monitoring of project interventions and active participation of all stakeholders in monitoring and evaluation, through appropriate monitoring and evaluation capacity building and development of effective monitoring and evaluation systems for project targets and indicators.<\/p>\n
