This position is responsible for repairing, upgrading, moving and maintaining all analysers operational in the diagnostic laboratory or research environment. This is a support function to the company and the levels are maintained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in line with the service provided by our customers. Main KPIs service effectiveness, administrative compliance and preventative maintenance visit completions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Field Service Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NATURE AND SCOPE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operations Support<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To independently service, support and maintain a wide range of medical diagnostic equipment in line with company procedures.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>URV PM and repair effectiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrate accountability for analysers assigned to as preferred engineer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the process of PM and MOD completion for preferred analyzers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2022 Possess sound administrative skills to complete all required tasks within the allocated timeframe.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boot stock and ASL management<\/li>\n<li>Debrief quality and accuracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2022 Adhere to all service department policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Promote the company with customers and play an active role in customer retention initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Possess a sound analytical and technical ability to assess and deal with difficult analyser problems.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Possess sound communication skills to address issues effectively with internal and external customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Identify potential service, training and product sales, or future business opportunities, recommending an action plan to the appropriate departments.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Adheres to policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Effective time management and personal organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must have a sense of urgency and immediate impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Champion DBS to drive continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be customer focused.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be innovative, curious and comfortable with work place complexities.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must have high self-awareness and good emotional intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be coachable and have a passion for new ideas while being able to get results under tough conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE \/ COMPETENCIES \/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferred: Diploma and 5 years experience in the field<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>A self-motivated person who looks forward to significant field-based activity<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English (written and oral) and one-second major language an asset (specifically to territory language)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Closing Date<\/strong>\u00a0: 28th April, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The position will provide field service and technical support to customers in the diagnostic laboratory environment.
