Job Title:\u00a0Business Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n

Role Purpose<\/b><\/p>\n

The Business Manager will provide effective and proactive support to the Technology Director by managing resources and information and assist with scheduling and planning meetings and project activities within the Technology Function. The successful candidate will update all projects that comes through to the CTO\u2019s office working closely with Technology & the Extended Technology Leadership Teams. He or She will be the team assistant for the Technology Function liaising with other Stakeholders in all activities that involve Technology Staff.\u00a0The person will be the Liaison between CTO and another stakeholder both external and internal.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n

\n\u2022\u00a0Write Technology Director\u2019s reports e.g. weekly Technology Leadership team update
\n\u2022\u00a0Provide key management\/ SMT level reports for Technology Director where required e.g. operational\/project reviews \/ budget reviews \/ off sites
\n\u2022\u00a0Manage documentation on behalf of Technology Director with emphasis on confidentiality.\u00a0 Flag up agenda items with Technology Director\u2019s direct reports and other heads as appropriate
\n\u2022\u00a0Take responsibility of Technology Director\u2019s correspondence: reading, replying, summarizing and editing.
\n\u2022\u00a0Prepare meeting packs and follow up on governance meetings (ops reviews and commercial reviews).
\n\u2022\u00a0Manage review packs and address management needs.
\n\u2022\u00a0Ensure that Technology Director\u2019s calendar address business priorities ensuring gaps and clashes are foreseen and rectified.
\n\u2022\u00a0Plan meetings\/events in conjunction with Technology Director and his\/her direct reports.
\n\u2022\u00a0Fully provide secretariat \u2013 Operational Reviews, Management meetings. This includes: preparation of agendas and meeting materials, production of minutes, preparation of governance schedule.
\n\u2022\u00a0Communicate with relevant functions in Vodafone Ghana on Technology issues
\n\u2022\u00a0Undertake ad hoc projects or tasks as requested by the Technology Director and the Technology Leadership Team
\n\u2022\u00a0Work on various business initiatives and projects from total business that requires technology staff input.<\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0Minimum of a First Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Arts or Related Field
\n\u2022\u00a0Minimum of 3 years Proven Experience in a Similar Role
\n\u2022\u00a0Prior Experience in Telecoms Industry is an Added Advantage
\n\u2022\u00a0Must have Working Knowledge of Office Management Systems and Procedures
\n\u2022\u00a0Ability to Manage, Facilitate, and Provide Structure to Technology Leadership Team meeting
\n\u2022\u00a0Proficiency in MS Office Tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
\n\u2022\u00a0Outstanding Organizational and Time Management Skills
\n\u2022\u00a0Ability to Multitask and Prioritize Daily Workload
\n\u2022\u00a0Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills
\n\u2022\u00a0Discretion, Confidentiality, Flexibility and Adaptability<\/p>\n
