\n\u2022 Oversees the management of the human, material and financial resources of the Directorate to improve efficiency;
\n\u2022 Coordinates the development and implementation of operational work plan for the Directorate;
\n\u2022 Oversees the conduct of all job analysis, Job Evaluation and Job Re-evaluation exercises for public service institutions;
\n\u2022 Develops and ensures implementation of grading and classification of salary structures;
\n\u2022 Develops proposals for consistent review of standard job evaluation methodology and development of salary structures;
\n\u2022 Develops and implements a monitoring framework for compliance to the principles of classification, grading, placement and payment of allowances by public service institutions;
\n\u2022 Provides advice on the development and management of the Single Spine Salary Structure for public service institutions and other public-sector institutions;
\n\u2022 Supervises the issuance of yearly updated Single Spine Salary Structure and other related salary structures and the periodic update of service classification for public service institutions;
\n\u2022 Provides data\/information on the Single Spine Grade Structure of public service institutions to the Grievance Review Committee to resolve issues on disputed job placements;
\n\u2022 Supervises the preparation and submission of annual budget, quarterly and annual report of the Directorate;
\n\u2022 Oversees the implementation of performance management in the Directorate.<\/p>\n
