We are creating new jobs, new skills, and empowering a generation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Jumia Services Country Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>About the role:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As JS Country Manager your main responsibilities will be to develop and drive the logistical arm of Jumia, in your market through operational and strategic actions. You will directly build and manage your operational team. You will be supported by a world-class team that has opened ventures throughout Africa and can bring experience and tools to ensure your success in the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement best practice fulfillment processes in the country<\/li>\n<li>Recruit and manage the logistics and fulfillment teamnormal<\/li>\n<li>Manage a fleet and 3PL providers + negotiate with 3PL provider<\/li>\n<li>Deliver measurable results linked to your business within designated region<\/li>\n<li>Ensure monthly reporting of actions and results against target percentages<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the smooth fulfillment of the items sold<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality of the measurement of selected KPIs hourly, daily, weekly and monthly<\/li>\n<li>Scale the team and the processes to support the growth of the company<\/li>\n<li>Constantly improve and develop new internal processes<\/li>\n<li>Make fast decisions in order to solve daily emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Produce regular reporting on the Operations performance<\/li>\n<li>Create an unparalleled environment for employee development and happiness<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate project management of new initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Budget management and control<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all financial processes associated with each financial month, quarter and year end are executed accurately and in a timely manner at Executive level<\/li>\n<li>Undertake ad hoc projects as required in the development of the department\u2019s objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who you are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with working in a culturally diverse environment<\/li>\n<li>Excellent People, Problem-solving, Negotiation, Time management and Coordination skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-Driven and great independent follow-through Ability<\/li>\n<li>Strong entrepreneurial skills, leadership, and drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Relevant Experience &amp; Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors.
