Agromite Limited is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant in its Tumu\u2019s office to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.<\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Administrative Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our directors, managers and employees, collection and compilation of farmer records and records of all equipment and machinery and managing our company\u2019s general administrative activities. This position may require some weeknights and weekend hours.<\/p>\n

Specific Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Collect and compile all farmer records in the approved format
\n\u2022 Collect and compile of daily activity records for equipment and machinery in the approved format
\n\u2022 Maintain updated records on the movement of all machinery, equipment, and tools
\n\u2022 Develop and maintain a filing system
\n\u2022 Answer and direct phone calls
\n\u2022 Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
\n\u2022 Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
\n\u2022 Update and maintain office policies and procedures
\n\u2022 Order and maintain office supplies
\n\u2022 Maintain contact lists
\n\u2022 Submit and reconcile expense reports
\n\u2022 Provide general support to visitors
\n\u2022 Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
\n\u2022 Liaise with Finance and Administrative Officer to handle requests and queries from Directors
\n\u2022 Participating in physical counts of inventory
\n\u2022 Managing fixed assets and the depreciation of fixed assets<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
\n\u2022 Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
\n\u2022 Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
\n\u2022 Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
\n\u2022 Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
\n\u2022 High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
\n\u2022 Must be able to work in a team
\n\u2022 Proficient in computing including MS Office Suite
\n\u2022 Self-motivation and commitment to achieving excellence.
\n\u2022 Sound judgment with excellent decision-making, influencing and negotiation skills.
\n\u2022 Communication skills to work with company leadership to meet operational needs and company objectives.<\/p>\n
