The Allied Health Professional is a Statutory body established under the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act, 2013 (Act 857, Part One) to regulate the training and practices of Allied Health Professions in Ghana to protect the Ghanaian population<\/p>\n

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment to the under listed Senior Management Positions of the Council: Deputy Registrar (Operations)<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Deputy Registrar (Operations)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 To provide strategic leadership, technical and administrative support in operations for the achievement of the mandate of the council<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide inputs for the formulation of policies of the Council
\n\u2022 Coordinates the development of programmes and activities on the operations of the council
\n\u2022 Coordinates the development of standards, guidelines, process and procedures for the management of the technical and operational activities of the council
\n\u2022 Coordinates the development of strategic, annual and other plans for the implementation of programmes and activities of the council
\n\u2022 Coordinates the development and management of a comprehensive data base on the technical and operational programmes and activities of the council
\n\u2022 Coordinates the authentication of certificates and verification of qualifications in the council
\n\u2022 Ensure the preparation of the budget of the division
\n\u2022 Ensure the preparation of the annual and other periodic reports of the division
\n\u2022 Coordinates the preparation of the annual and other periodic report of the council
\n\u2022 Ensure the implementation of performance management policy in the division
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with the standards and regulations of the council<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 A minimum of a Master\u2019s Degree in an Allied Health Profession from an accredited tertiary institution
\n\u2022 A registered member of the Allied Health Professional council
\n\u2022 Fellowship of an accredited Allied Health College would be an added advantage
\n\u2022 A minimum of 12 years post registration relevant work experience, 5 years of which must be a in a senior management position in a reputable institution<\/p>\n

\u2022 Extensive leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
\n\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal and presentation skills
\n\u2022 Excellent negotiating, lobbying and conflict management skills
\n\u2022 Capacity to inspire and motivate staff
\n\u2022 Extensive knowledge and experience of the Allied Health Profession and related industry
\n\u2022 Extensive knowledge in public financial management laws and regulations
\n\u2022 Excellent quantitative and qualitative analtyical skills
\n\u2022 Proficiency in relevant computer applications
\n\u2022 High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair<\/p>\n
