The BLM Surface Drilling, Boom\/Rotary will be responsible for the Business Line:\u00a0Surface Drilling (Boom & Rotary)<\/i>\u00a0in the Sales Area (SA). This includes people management where applicable, sales & profitability of the division as well as ensuring local representation of global product line focus areas and measurements. You will also be responsible for the technical and application support for the product line(s) in the SA. Knowledge of the SMRT offering, customer base and the mining industry in West Africa is required<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Business Line Manager: Surface Drilling, Booms\/Rotary<\/strong><\/p>\n Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n As BLM, you will ensure overall support, drive common practice and generate relevant processes for the must-win major Surface Drill, Boom\/Rotary projects. Specifically, you would be required to:<\/p>\n \u2022Develop and execute the SA-specific strategy in line with the divisional strategy\u00a0\u2022Conduct Competitor Analysis and identify\/implement needed actions to enhance growth of market share within the SA\u2022Collaborate closely with Distributors, where applicable to capture early leads to enhance the SA\u2019s chances of securing business\u2022Plan the business by\u00a0budgeting\/forecasting<\/span>\u00a0and follow up with relevant Product Lines\u2022Obtain and provide information for product development to Division\/Factory and keep up-to-date with competitor activities and ensure market competitiveness .\u2022Apply all relevant Sales Tools databases\u2022Map needs and ensure delivery of relevant training for team members\u2022Ensure Technical & Sales support within the Product line(s)\u2022Evaluate and advise on go-to-market models for Product line(s)\u2022Implement global\u00a0strategies\/initiatives<\/span>\u00a0into the Product line in the SA\u2022Maintain a succession plan for key product line positions in the SA where applicable\u2022Responsible for pricing and price development of the product line(s) \u2022Accountable for the following financial KPIs: Volume, GGP,\u00a0 A&S, NWC & Market share\u2022Ensure full compliance with all SHEQ requirements<\/p>\n Your Profile<\/b>:<\/b><\/p>\n You should be a results-oriented individual with relevant Consultative and Analytical skills and\u00a0 sound understanding\u00a0 of the mining industry and its business processes.<\/p>\n Very strong team player, willing and able to work with colleagues and peers across Divisions in SAWA to achieve the best outcome and maintain required flexibility and availability to attend to customers and business requirements according to the exigencies of the business.<\/p>\n Degree\/Diploma in Engineering<\/p>\n 5+ Years\u2019 experience in a Mining, Technical and Sales environment<\/p>\n A high level of applications knowledge and sound knowledge and experience with the Sandvik product range is required.<\/p>\n Technical and Business experience is required.
