Will be the key person in charge of overseeing the completion of the project with a keen awareness of material expenses, permits, local construction regulations and by-laws. and employee safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Construction Foreman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Personnel Profile<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>This role requires an individual with the following attributes:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enthusiastic but disciplined<\/li>\n<li>Solutions oriented and a problem solver<\/li>\n<li>Highly self-driven, motivated, organized and detail oriented<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator with good leadership skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job\/Specification<br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, organize, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals<\/li>\n<li>Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew<\/li>\n<li>Allocate general and daily responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure manpower and resources are adequate<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioral expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring crew compliance with company policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the use of machinery and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget<\/li>\n<li>Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Inspecting, choosing right materials and measuring completed work<\/li>\n<li>Resolve problems when they arise<\/li>\n<li>Report on progress to managers, engineers<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate mandatory safety tool box meetings<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring completion of initial safety and hazard assessments<\/li>\n<li>Participating in safety\/incident investigations<\/li>\n<li>Await written authorization for any work outside of or beyond the original contract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Specific\u00a0Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Polytechnic or Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as construction foreman<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Piping systems<\/li>\n<li>Have knowledge of concrete and masonry technology and its quality testing<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of site geodetic survey<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with CAD software and ability to do sketches<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate and report effectively with MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining site foreman\u2019s log &amp; site reports<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of daily production records<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on work progress<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate and coordinate with several stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Salary Negotiable is dependent on Experience (however this is an entry\u00a0level position)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Salary Negotiable is dependent on Experience (however this is an entry\u00a0level position)<\/p>\n<p>Interested persons should send their Applications to this email\u00a0<strong>financehrmanager@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to the Project Manager, the functions of this role includes but are not limited to supporting the Construction department.
