More information on Keegan and the Esaase project can be found on www.keeganresources.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The objective of this new role is to develop and implement safety programmes in accordance with company policies and Ghanaian legislation. The job will be a full time and based at the Esaase Gold Project site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to the GM &#8211; Health, Safety, Environmental and Community, the incumbent&#8217;s responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading the development and documentation of risk management and standard operating procedures within a framework of continuous improvement<\/li>\n<li>Leading and\/or participating in incident reporting, investigation, finding root causes and taking remedial actions<\/li>\n<li>Conducting safety inductions for all visitors and new employees<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating safety training for employees<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out routine inspections of workplaces<\/li>\n<li>Tracking and reporting progress on safety initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree or equivalent in engineering or science.
