The role is also responsible for the preparation of the financial statements of the business in full compliance with International Accounting Standards while providing insightful analysis of the company\u2019s financial statements to help decision making<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Financial Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Statutory Reporting.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing of the financial statements of the company (statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial position and statement of cash flow) in accordance with IFRS and Unilever standard chart of accounts (SCOA)<\/li>\n<li>Providing commentary on the results for the Financial Controller.<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly publication of the financial results in the appropriate media\/channels<\/li>\n<li>Preparing quarterly presentation for statutory board meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing of quarterly presentation for board audit committee meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing of monthly working capital (WC) of the organisation in SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Calculating and interpretations of financial ratios.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing the annual booklet of the company.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly review of indirect and Administrative cost postings made into the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Month end coordination (MEC)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and send the MEC checklist together with the Issue log ahead of the month end and coordinates the month end process of SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on all MEC issues and ensures all issues are resolved on time<\/li>\n<li>Provide consultancy to internal customers, regarding cost control, through regular meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manage IP\/Ariba\/DCIW processes relating to Site Financial Accounts. Liaise with the outsourced account payable function to ensure correct accounting for payments to\/from site.<\/li>\n<li>Check for deviation in the Payroll file \u2013 Ensure any amendments in headcount is correctly reflected by HR team.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cost centre structures within SAP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Balance Sheet and P&amp;L integrity, risk and control by providing reconciliations and commentaries to the National Finance Director<\/li>\n<li>Accrual sign offs<\/li>\n<li>3rd party &amp; OC R2R interface<\/li>\n<li>Global reporting<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the management of GL transactions\/reporting for the Country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Direct Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Interfaces<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Financial Accountant Asst.
