The Board traces its beginning further back to the cocoa hold-up of 1937. Ghana Cocoa Board recruits <strong>Pharmacist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Purpose:<br \/>\nTo control, supply and distribute drugs to ensure quality healthcare to patients<\/p>\n<p>Supervises the formulation\/compounding of various pharmaceuticals including mixtures, syrups, ointments, lotions etc or patients and outstation clinics<br \/>\nSupervises counter dispensing, counsels patients on correct usage of drugs, checks prescriptions for possible incompatibilities\/interactions, filling and correct labeling of prescriptions for patients<br \/>\nMakes requisitions to medical stores and keeps good and up-to-date records of all drugs issued to the dispensary<br \/>\nSupervises issues (drugs\/dressings) to other units, wards, theatre, laboratory, etc<br \/>\nInstitutes control measures in order to check drug movements in the dispensary<br \/>\nKeeps an up-to-date records on all dangerous drugs as specified in the Dangerous Drugs Act Book<br \/>\nProvides information to Chief Pharmacist and other members of the healthcare team with regard to the use of any drug<br \/>\nPerforms any other duties that may be assigned from time to time<br \/>\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n<p>A degree in Pharmacy (Ghana) or from any institution outside with reciprocal agreement with Ghana<br \/>\nMust be registered Pharmacist and of goodstanding with pharmacy Council with 3-5 years post qualification experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should send their applications and curriculum vitae through the following address;<br \/>\nDIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCE<br \/>\nGHANA COCOA BOARD<br \/>\nP.
