The role expects a high standard of engineering excellence and a deep understanding of designing, implementing and maintaining a complex, multi-tier distributed software application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Backend Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications, document and test systems, modify as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Own implementation of a module\/application\/product<\/li>\n<li>Develop efficient, elegant, clean code with no unnecessary complication or abstraction<\/li>\n<li>Deliver code in an agile team environment \u2013 you will operate in the weekly scrum model<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and cross-vertical team<\/li>\n<li>Build new APIs<\/li>\n<li>Build and take operational responsibility of Java services that serve millions of users<\/li>\n<li>Identify any product\/functionality gaps and collaborate internal product and technology teams to define the necessary development to support solution delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\/Master\u2019s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years\u2019 experience in Java backend development.<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge in Java, Spring framework, Spring boot<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of web services and related standards like REST\/JSON<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Object-Oriented programming and concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of basic algorithms, design patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Unix based development environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Junit.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Kubernetes.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Financial or Payment industry experience is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in delivering highly available, scalable systems on time.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills, fluent in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Closing Date<\/strong>\u00a0: 9 August, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a talented, creative, and passionate Java back end engineers.
