Job Title:\u00a0IT Manager \u2013 Networks, Systems And Telecommunications<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants must satisfy the criteria below:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum Education \u2013 of a Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
\n\u2022 Having any of the following professional certifications (Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), and\/or Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional and or Expert (CCNA\/P\/E) would be an advantage.<\/p>\n

Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n

Knowledge & Experience<\/p>\n

At least 5 to 10 years progressive management experience overseeing and leading IT<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience in managing an IT networks and Systems within any organisation or an institution of higher learning or in the public or private section.
\n\u2022 Should understand computer systems, networks, security
\n\u2022 Should understand IP Phone deployment and SIP functionality in Telecommunication
\n\u2022 Should have experience in the deployment of IP based PABX
\n\u2022 Should have ability to support IT security deployment for an Institutions network and IT services
\n\u2022 Should have working knowledge of DNS, Active Directory, Virtual Machine configurations and Mail system support.
\n\u2022 Experience in managing external vendor relationships and broad knowledge of trends and future directions of \u2022 IT and its application in higher education.
\n\u2022 Excellent understanding of project management principles.
\n\u2022 Ability to communicate concepts \u2018and processes clearly and effectively in writing<\/p>\n
