\n\u2022 Directing the effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes to enhance the administrative and academic activities of the University.
\n\u2022 The Director will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing Information Technology (IT) initiatives to enhance teaching, learning and research in the University.
\n\u2022 He\/She will also lead in planning and implementing administrative and academic information systems to support and improve cost-effectiveness and business development in a constantly changing, competitive educational environment to ensure value for money and return on investment.
\n\u2022 He\/She will be advising senior management in any issues concerning IT<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Minimum eight years\u2019 experience working in IT operations
\n\u2022 telecommunications, databases, and storage systems
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
\n\u2022 Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
\n\u2022 Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols
\n\u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Team-oriented
\n\u2022 Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience overseeing IT teams and projects
\n\u2022 Certifications and continuing education preferred<\/p>\n
