Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Account Clerks\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties among others in the Finance Division:<\/p>\n \u2022 Perform accounting and clerical duties. AGE REQUIREMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Applicants must not be more than thirty (30) years of age at the time of applying.<\/p>\n Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Applicants must possess a minimum of WASSCE\/SSSCE\/GCE Ordinary Level\/General Business Examination Certificate with credits in at least five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Financial\/Cost Accounting. EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n Applicants must have at least one year relevant post-qualification experience in a reputable organisation.<\/p>\n KEY COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Attention to details. \n\u2022 Type, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
\n\u2022 Prepare bank deposit slips, general ledger postings and statement.
\n\u2022 Enter financial transactions in database daily.
\n\u2022 Provide assistance and support to Finance personnel.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Any additional certification in an accounting-related area from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
\n\u2022 Applicants must be computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Excel.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Good communication skills.
\n\u2022 Integrity and the ability to act responsibly and ethically.
\n\u2022 Accuracy in accounting computations and data entry.
\n\u2022 Strong people skills, a polite and professional demeanor.<\/p>\n
