{"id":4960,"date":"2011-08-09T03:35:33","date_gmt":"2011-08-09T03:35:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=4960"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:14:10","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:14:10","slug":"national-commission-for-civic-education-ghana-project-accountant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/national-commission-for-civic-education-ghana-project-accountant.html","title":{"rendered":"National Commission For Civic Education Ghana: Project Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em>The European Union has given support to the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) for the 2012 presidential and parliamentary elections, and the NCCE announces the recruitment for a three period of the project personnel listed below:<\/p>\n<p><\/em><strong>Job Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>To guide the project team in the use of financial resources to achieve value for money.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides technical guidance on financial management to the project manager<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the judicious use of funds<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the operation of a double entry accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Maintains proper books of Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Prepares periodic financial reports on the project<\/li>\n<li>Prepares vouchers and makes payments<\/li>\n<li>Maintains credit control to reduce cash exposure<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinates with the Auditor for effective expenditure verification<\/li>\n<li>Posts entries and prepares bank Reconciliation statements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>CA\u00a0(Ghana), ACCA or BA\/BSc (Accounting), B.Com<\/li>\n<li>Must have eight (8) years work experience, three (3) of which must have been at a similar level. Previous experience with EU funded project accounts is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in the use of Excel and have advance knowledge of Word<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with at least one software to maintain a double entry accounting system is essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Interested persons should send their applications and resumes to:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>National Commission for Civic Education<br \/>\nP.
