\n\u2022 Provide leadership in advancing the college\u2019s teaching and mission through a clear vision of the library\u2019s role, comprehensive strategic planning and incorporation of emerging technology
\n\u2022 Draw up and monitor the implementation of college library strategic plan
\n\u2022 Establish and maintain procedures, policies and systems to provide efficient library operation and be exposed to international best practices
\n\u2022 Plan, organise, coordinate and measure the work activities of all library personnel
\n\u2022 Collaborate with the relevant and appropriate institutional libraries and organisations within and outside the country to attract grants for library development and
\n\u2022 Be a member of the Academic Board<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Have served as Deputy Librarian in a college of Education or at a comparable grade in an analogous institution\/organisation for at least 4 years
\n\u2022 Be conversant with library records management software
\n\u2022 Be analytical, critical, informative and research oriented
\n\u2022 Have a good character, leadership skills and high degree of professional integrity and
\n\u2022 Be able to complete at least one term of 4 years bfore attaining the compuslory retirement age of 60
\n\u2022 Have good character and high degree of personal integrity<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), together with relevant supporting documents
\n\u2022 Reference letters from 3 referees
\n\u2022 A vision statement of not more than two pages relevant to the position applied for.<\/p>\n
