\n\u2022 Principal
\n\u2022 Be generally responsible for the administration of the financial affairs of the College
\n\u2022 Ensure its financial health and exercise direct supervision over all accounting officers
\n\u2022 Be responsible for collecting all legitimate revenues due to the college
\n\u2022 Exercise control over expenditure in line with the College\u2019s objectives and budgets
\n\u2022 Have the duty of preparing the annual budget of the college for presentation to the appropriate governing body for approval and implementation
\n\u2022 Be responsible for ensuring that the financial statements of the college are drawn up in accordance with the law establishing the colleges, the statutes, applicable accounting standards and all other Regulations approved by the College, as well as all other relevant national laws and
\n\u2022 Liaise with the appointed external auditors to get the College\u2019s financial statements audited<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Have a professional qualification or a master\u2019s degree in finance
\n\u2022 Must have served as a Deputy Finance Officer in a college of Education or at a comparable grade in an analogous institution\/organisation for at least 4 years
\n\u2022 Be able to complete at least one term of 4 years before attaining the compulsory retirement age of 60
\n\u2022 Have good character and high degree of personal integrity<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
\n\u2022 Possess strong I.T skills and familiarity with accounting software
\n\u2022 Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and
\n\u2022 Be a member of a professional body\/association<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), together with relevant supporting documents
\n\u2022 Reference letters from 3 referees
\n\u2022 A vision statement of not mroe than two pages relevant to the position applied for.<\/p>\n
