This is a great career opportunity for experienced professionals interested in joining a progressive team.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nReporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will lead the Human Resources function, provide strategic direction and optimize HR best practices in the bank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development of key HR policies\/practices<\/li>\n<li>Lead collective bargaining efforts and organizational development initiatives and advise the Leadership Team, other senior staff and elected officials on human resources and labour relations matters<\/li>\n<li>Ensure corporate compliance with regulatory requirements, contribute to a positive health and safety culture and administrator corporate benefit programs<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed format and timescales<\/li>\n<li>Manage and develop direct reporting staff<\/li>\n<li>Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all functional\/department managers are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the bank<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the evaluation and development of HR strategy and performance in cooperation with the executive team<\/li>\n<li>Ensure HR activities meet with and integrate with the Bank&#8217;s requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Human Resources<\/li>\n<li>Membership of CIPD, IHRMP or recognized professional body<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of seven years of human resources and labour relations experience, at least five of which should be in a leadership capacity or the equivalent combination of formal education and relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, leadership and people management skills<\/li>\n<li>Solid business acumen and highly developed decision making and analytical abilities<\/li>\n<li>Strong oral\/written communication and conflict resolution skills<\/li>\n<li>Government or regulated industry experience is an asset<\/li>\n<li>Must have excellent influencing and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong change management skills are desired; and<\/li>\n<li>Must have stakeholder and customer relationship management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should please apply with their CVs to:<\/p>\n<div>\n<strong>HR Advisory Services<br \/>\nKPMG<br \/>\nMarlin House<br \/>\n13 Yiyiwa Drive, Abelenkpe<br \/>\nP.
