The primary objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of appliances marketed\u00a0and used in Ghana through the introduction of a combination\u00a0of regulatory tools\u00a0such as Minimum Energy Performance Standards and Information Labels (S&amp;L), and\u00a0innovative economic\u00a0tools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration\u00a0of Initial Contract<\/strong>: 1 year (One year renewable)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Under the direct supervision of the Executive\u00a0Secretary of the Energy Commission, the incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the\u00a0following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the project implementation in accordance with objectives, work plan and planned\u00a0budget;<\/li>\n<li>Management and technical oversight of all project activities, staff, consultants and etc., for timely implementation of requirements on M&amp;E;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor financial resources and accounting\u00a0to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the project activities with relevant stakeholders and implementing partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, networking and teambuilding skills;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, with analytic capacity and the ability to synthesise project outcomes and relevant findings into quality papers and reports, intended for a range of different audiences;<\/li>\n<li>Shares knowledge and experience actively, mentors project staff;<\/li>\n<li>Capability to produce high quality communication and outreach materials to inform stakeholders and project partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years work experience in project management. Previous work in international project management is an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>University education in Engineering, Energy, Physics, Business Management, Social Sciences or relevant field.
