accurate and useful information for decision making.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Regional Financial Manager (West Africa)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall management of the management\/accounting\/ business controlling department for Wes Africa finance functions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance within Saint Gobain\u2019s financial procedures (Group Doctrine)<\/li>\n<li>Lead analysis of monthly costs to ensure alignment with Budget or RF.<\/li>\n<li>Create, coordinate and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the entity to include budgeting, quarterly (Rolling Forecasting) and LRP<\/li>\n<li>Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the entity<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with local and statutory budgetary reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Overall responsibility for the integrity of the West African entities, \u00a0trial balances, including review and authorization of general ledger reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement finance, accounting billing, and auditing procedures<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain appropriate internal\/business control environment<\/li>\n<li>Interact with BU Head to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial statements to identify potential opportunities and issues<\/li>\n<li>Monthly Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Challenge and understanding BU results,<\/li>\n<li>Coaching and supporting the team in reporting and analysis, synthesis of results<\/li>\n<li>All such duties and\/or activities assigned by management\/board as and when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regional Role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Result analysis though extraction tool, then monthly review and elaborate 10 lines comments per businesses, as well as the monthly CFO, comments for Group.<\/li>\n<li>Communication of the monthly flash result to CFO<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of the monthly result presentation for the CFO about regional performance<\/li>\n<li>Annual business review and B&amp;S Review per business.<\/li>\n<li>Guide, training, and support on the new acquisition on Group Reporting and tools.<\/li>\n<li>Interface with Headoffice GIM regional financial controller.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of Budget and LRP with GIM businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business Control Compliance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Produce and implement policies<\/li>\n<li>Provide training where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Mitigate compliance risks<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal and compliance risk management<\/li>\n<li>Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations<\/li>\n<li>Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure that where legal and compliance risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance to business in managing reputational risk in relation to legal and compliance affairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified CA\/ CIMA or Honours Degree (preferably B.Com Accounting)<\/li>\n<li>MBA (added advantage)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 Years experience in a manufacturing business would be a distinct advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in an ERP system environment, preferably SAP-B1<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of automated financial and reporting systems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy (MS Office and SAP-B1)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills;<\/li>\n<li>Structural planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Resilience and stress management<\/li>\n<li>Excellence \/ Quality Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Drive and results
