We are an employment technology\u00a0company building a revolutionary SaaS Platform to transform the traditional staffing system with our data-driven network of employment-related applications.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, We leverage on the power of efficient technologies to hunt for unique talents for our employers globally using our available job board with integration of an Applicant Tracking System and other job aggregators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"title\"><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accountant\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments, taxes, and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets for our client.<\/p>\n<p>Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we\u2019re compliant with all tax regulations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all accounting transactions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budget forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Publish financial statements in time<\/li>\n<li>Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile accounts payable and receivable<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely bank payments<\/li>\n<li>Compute taxes and prepare tax returns<\/li>\n<li>Manage balance sheets and profit\/loss statements<\/li>\n<li>Report on the company\u2019s financial health and liquidity<\/li>\n<li>Audit financial transactions and documents<\/li>\n<li>Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Comply with financial policies and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section id=\"st-qualifications\" class=\"job-section\">\n<p class=\"title\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the accounting sector.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge on Taxation is required.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with accounting software<\/li>\n<li>Advanced MS Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with general ledger functions<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree<\/li>\n<li>Additional certification (ICAG or ACCA) is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wekplace, currently operates\u00a0in Accra, Ghana | Kigali, Rwanda | Port Louis, Mauritius.
