use knowledge of Tech solutions to drive organizational change and support business process design.<\/li>\n<li>-Manage trade-offs between speed to market, quality and financial impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Accountability: Manage risk and\u00a0<span class=\"WCQ2\">Compliance\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Time Split: 15%<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Outputs to deliver this accountability:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Together with Risk and Compliance team, review the key risk and compliance challenges identified in the area and the key areas of\u00a0<span class=\"WCQ2\">concern\/surveillance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Together with the Risk and Compliance team implement measures to address notable risks and regulatory challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Implement measures to review the risk and compliance performance of the unit\/function on a regular basis and take corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Complete all relevant Management Assurance or Risk reports and attestations as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that processes, control requirements and risk management frameworks that impact the area are documented and understood by all members of the team.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Absa Internal Audit and Management Assurance during the scoping of audits to ensure fair coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Own and agree corrective action items with Internal Audit and Management Assurance for findings related to the functional area under management.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange issue assurance for closed audit findings.<\/li>\n<li>Complete required compliance and SOX attestations and ensure that impacted team members complete their attestations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the team understands all compliance requirements and call for the area\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Accountability: Drive\u00a0<span class=\"WCQ2\">Service\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Time Split: 25%<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Outputs to deliver this accountability:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase revenue potential for the business by effectively managing service levels of critical applications<\/li>\n<li>Minimize time-to-resolution (TTR) of business service disruptions through fast real-time root cause analysis of solutions deployed.<\/li>\n<li>Minimize cost of IT infrastructure through optimizing delivery and performance of business services.<\/li>\n<li>Implement actions resulting from formalised service reviews (including questionnaires, production reporting, loss event reporting, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Continuously monitor service levels and implement tactical measures to improve customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships within the Bank to understand the business needs and changes in customer needs.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Bank wide forums and governance structures as required or directed.<\/li>\n<li>Work of the Head of Solutions to communicate and track the achievement of Service levels (documented in Service Level Agreements) on an on-going basis and take corrective action as required on all solutions deployed.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the operational teams to ensure they deliver reliable services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Accountability: Manage\u00a0<span class=\"WCQ2\">resources\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Time Split: 20%<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Outputs to deliver this accountability:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to sound financial and governance controls to support sound resource management and financial control within the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to all required compliance requirements, financial policies and supply chain policies within the bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Role \/ Person Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Education and Experience Required<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors and Computer Science or related field (System Engineer, IS Engineer, Information Systems Engineer, IT Engineer, Network Systems Engineer)<\/li>\n<li>MBA or business related additional certificate would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate and\/or courses in Software Architecture will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working in the Telco\/Banking industry<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of project management principles.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years hands on experience in\u00a0 project Management<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of banking processes and systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Knowledge &amp; Skills: (Maximum of 6)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical understanding of\u00a0<b>SOA<\/b>\u00a0(Service Oriented Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>Expert Level in UML ,DevOps and Agile development, continuous integration tools<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical understanding of Enterprise and cloud development.
