\n\u2022 Take a proactive role in the development and implementation of clinical services in the hospital in accordance with National Policy
\n\u2022 Take lead role in ensuring that high clinical standards are met in the provision of specialist medical services
\n\u2022 Take lead role in developing and maintaining skills and knowledge in the specialist fields through an agreed CPD plan in line with the outcome of the annual appraisal process
\n\u2022 Lead and contribute to clinical supervision and promote the conduct of clinical research and development using evidence-based approach
\n\u2022 Manage and motivate clinical staff
\n\u2022 Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the Chief Executive<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A minimum of 10 years work experience in Medical practice, 5 of which must be at the senior management level
\n\u2022 Member of relevant and recognised professional body
\n\u2022 Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development and training in health management
\n\u2022 Knowledge in coordinating and implementing research and development programmes<\/p>\n
