Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 To enhance the success of our projects by overseeing all construction projects by discussing project objectives, needs and budgets with senior management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Oversee construction projects from beginning to end<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the budget and estimate costs<br \/>\n\u2022 Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare reports regarding job status<br \/>\n\u2022 Resolve any problems that may arise<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes<br \/>\n\u2022 Evaluate risks<br \/>\n\u2022 Train and mentor construction workers and construction labourers depending on the size of the project<br \/>\n\u2022 The Construction\/Project Manager must have a site supervisor with hands on experience to supervise actual construction work done by various teams<br \/>\n\u2022 Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team<br \/>\n\u2022 Hire contractors and staff including construction labourers<br \/>\n\u2022 Delegate responsibilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects<br \/>\n\u2022 Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly<br \/>\n\u2022 Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.<br \/>\n\u2022 Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements<br \/>\n\u2022 Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities<br \/>\n\u2022 Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations<br \/>\n\u2022 Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Key Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 BSc\/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field<br \/>\n\u2022 10 years minimum industry experience as a construction project manager<br \/>\n\u2022 In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards<br \/>\n\u2022 Good knowledge of MS Office<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiarity with construction\/ project management software<br \/>\n\u2022 BSc\/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field<br \/>\n\u2022 PMP or
