\n\u2022 Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients\u2019 conditions.
\n\u2022 Record patients\u2019 medical information and vital signs.
\n\u2022 Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients\u2019 responses and conditions.
\n\u2022 Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
\nOrder, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient\u2019s condition.
\n\u2022 Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
\n\u2022 Direct and supervise less skilled nursing\/health care personnel, or supervise a particular unit on one shift.
\n\u2022 Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Nurses should be caring, sympathetic, responsible, and detail oriented
\n\u2022 They must be able to direct or supervise others, correctly assess patients\u2019 conditions, and determine when consultation is required
\n\u2022 They need emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other
\nstresses.<\/p>\n
