recording in the company\u2019s books and timely payment process and ensure timely collection of debtors balances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Tax and Accounts Payable Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least upper second class honours degree in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>At least Higher National Diploma in Accounting or Doing the last part of Ghana accountants Certification or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years relevant experience in tax accounting and reporting, Accounts payable and\u00a0 related reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of Ghana tax laws and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting and coordinating Ghana Revenue Authority audits for both direct and indirect taxes<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of ERP systems preferably Navision, proficiency in Ms Office (Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><b>Key Responsibilities\u00a0<span class=\"WDQ2\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and Register all incoming supplier invoices<\/li>\n<li>Check that invoices are valid acknowledge receipt<\/li>\n<li>Book invoices in the accounting system and submit for approval<\/li>\n<li>Filing of all invoices paid<\/li>\n<li>Attending to vendor queries and reconciling supplier statements<\/li>\n<li>Posting of expenses in Navision (Ledger entries)<\/li>\n<li>Accruals and Accounts Payable Booking into Navision System<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile creditor statements and investigate\/resolve any queries<\/li>\n<li>Extract Customs duty (CEPS) data from NAV and prepare Duty Declaration statement for payment to the Ghana Revenue Authority<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with the clearing Agent\/Tax authorities then make declarations on the duties<\/li>\n<li>Filling of Local uplifts returns (UPPF) for the periods due<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of NPA and UPPF report<\/li>\n<li>Processing of staff statutory payments, e.g. SSNIT, PAYE, Provident fund, etc<\/li>\n<li>Processing of WHT payments<\/li>\n<li>Processing VAT payments<\/li>\n<li>Filing of PAYE and SSNIT returns<\/li>\n<li>Filing of withholding tax returns and tracking of Tax credit certificates for customers<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Monthly VAT Schedule and filing of monthly returns<\/li>\n<li>Arrange for the insurance of all company motor vehicles with the insurer through Company\u2019s insurance Broker<\/li>\n<li>Attend to annual Internal audit with regards to matters relating to their requests and queries<\/li>\n<li>Assist with GRA Post Clearance Audit by the Customs Division (CEPS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Relationships and Department
