Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Responsible for the day to day administration of the Security Unit \u2013 Planning, Organizing, Directing and Controlling of all security personnel engaged directly by KATH and from private cocmpanies to ensure that security is effectively maintained at the hospital, residence etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that security<br \/>\n\u2022 Organize rounds of inspections on all security locations and installations<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that all security procedures and standing orders are followed<br \/>\n\u2022 Organizing and implementing training programs for security officers<br \/>\n\u2022 Conducting investigations and periodic security audits of all premises of the hospital including the designated residences<br \/>\n\u2022 Submit routine reports on the Unit to the Director of Administration<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop annual and other plans and budget<br \/>\n\u2022 Implement the decisions of the hospital management<br \/>\n\u2022 Formulate internal rules and regulations to ensure that standards are maintained and offer quiality care<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure implementation of the performance appraisals system of staff in the Unit<br \/>\n\u2022 Organize activities aimed at achieving best security practice<br \/>\n\u2022 Investigate theft, palfering and assault issues and submit reports with recommendations<br \/>\n\u2022 Educate staff on security matters<br \/>\n\u2022 Report security matters to the Management<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform any additional duties that may be assigned by the Director of Administration or Chief Executive<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp;
