This position will report to Technical Services Manager.\u00a0The role requires a multi-skilled, highly disciplined and self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brief Description:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Systems Support Engineer is responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining the Information Technology and Communications infrastructure of Spidersat customers to ensure their efficient operation, maximum availability and to maximise business continuity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1st and\u00a02nd level customer Support<\/li>\n<li>Technical information, advice, and assistance during the installation, support and maintenance of new or existing hardware or software<\/li>\n<li>Emergency assistance in the event of a hardware, software or communications failure<\/li>\n<li>Providing support via email, telephone and remote access facilities<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting and escalation of problems within acceptable timeframes<\/li>\n<li>Support and maintenance of VSAT equipment<\/li>\n<li>Support and maintenance of Wireless networks<\/li>\n<li>Support and maintenance of Server systems (Windows, Linux)<\/li>\n<li>Support and maintenance of VoIP and IP Telephony systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A tertiary degree in a related field<\/li>\n<li>Should have at least\u00a0one industry certifications from Cisco, Microsoft or CompTIA<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0years minimum experience<\/li>\n<li>French speaking is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send all applications to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:HR@spidersat.net\">HR@spidersat.net<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:RSaleh@spidersat.net\">RSaleh@spidersat.net<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing\u00a014 Sep, 2011<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spidersat is seeking to recruit a qualified, motivated and experienced Systems Support \u00a0Engineer (SSE).
