Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd opened for business in December 1999. Today we are recruiting for <strong>Head, Personal Banking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Role:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide strategic direction and leadership to Personal Banking as part of the broader Retail Banking strategy of the Bank. To drive and manage the profitable delivery of a proactive, value-adding sales and service platform in the Personal Banking environment in order to grow and retain high-value customers. This will include functional responsibility for Branch Network, Wealth and Distribution &amp; Self Service Channels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Report directly to the Head, Personal and Business Banking:<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set strategic direction for the Personal Banking section in line with the Group strategic agenda<\/li>\n<li>Understand and communicate market opportunities, competitor analysis and organisational readiness<\/li>\n<li>Drive appropriate resourcing and human capital requirements<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and offer support to sales and service teams<\/li>\n<li>Build service proposition through customer strategy, measurement and enablement<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate migration to appropriate channels<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage key stakeholder relationship on behalf of Personal Banking<\/li>\n<li>Develop a culture of partnership and working together in Personal Markets<\/li>\n<li>Build a sustainable Physical Distribution infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for guidance, coaching, training and mentoring of Personal Banking teams\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good first degree in a business related field. An MBA will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of eight (8) years general banking experience, with exposure in Personal Banking<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of Personal\/Consumer banking in Africa and\/or the Emerging Markets<\/li>\n<li>Strongly numerate with an exposure to best-practice finance and capital management in banking<\/li>\n<li>Credible experience having operated at both a strategic and operational level in a similar function and environment for a minimum of five (5) years<\/li>\n<li>Credible experience in running a Personal\/Consumer Banking business with presence in Africa or Emerging markets<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders across various countries and cultures<\/li>\n<li>Ability to positively influence with strong negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Broad business acumen with an ability to operate at strategic and operational levels<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable to operate in a &#8216;Greenfield&#8217; business<\/li>\n<li>Strong people management skills\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Interested persons may e-mail their application letter with current Curriculum Vitae (CV) to: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>recruitmentghana@stanbic.com.gh\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>or post to:<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/p>\n<div>\nHead of Human Resources<br \/>\nStanbic Bank Ghana<br \/>\nP.
