{"id":52352,"date":"2020-10-28T12:15:50","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T12:15:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=52352"},"modified":"2020-10-28T12:15:50","modified_gmt":"2020-10-28T12:15:50","slug":"world-vision-international-vacancies-2020-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/world-vision-international-vacancies-2020-3.html","title":{"rendered":"World Vision International Vacancies 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Support operations by ensuring proper usage, regular maintenance and repairs of assigned vehicles for high performance and to undertake driving assignments within and outside assigned areas as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Driver Mechanic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out routine maintenance of vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Drive staff and visitors to, from and within the assigned locations as and when required<\/li>\n<li>Maintain log books and report regularly to Fleet Supervisor on the performance of assigned vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose faults and carry out repairs where applicable and advice Supervisor and staff on the repairs of vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the recovery of broken down vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Give technical assistance and coordinate the procurement of genuine vehicle parts for maintenance and repairs<\/li>\n<li>Give Technical guidance to other vehicle users to polish driving skills and unsure the safe use of the vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that vehicles are clean and have all the requisite safety gadgets such as fire extinguishers, dusters, basic tools and equipment and also valid road worthy certificates and insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Education \/ Work Experience \/ Key Competencies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motor Mechanic Certificate (MVM) + 2 years relevant experience or Motor Vehicle Technician (MVT) 1\/2 + at least 2 years relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Professional driver\u2019s license for at least 2 years, preferably experience with a 4 wheel drive.<\/li>\n<li>To be able to undertake general servicing of vehicles and diagnose faults, preferably on diesel engines<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conduct minor repairs on vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write reports (basic)<\/li>\n<li>Must be a committed Christian<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate clearly in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The positions are based in field offices ( Asutifi North, Kintampo South and Agortime Ziope)<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will report to the Fleet Supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Support operations by ensuring proper usage, regular maintenance and repairs of assigned vehicles for high performance and to undertake driving assignments within and outside assigned areas as required.
