Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Director of Human Resource<\/strong><\/p>\n The Position<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 The Director of Human Resource is a key member of the Executive Management Team of the Commission is expected to give strategic direction in Human Resource and required to ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures. Duties\/Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n \u2022 Developing and formulating Human Resources (HR) policies in areas such as staff appraisals, career development, planning, compensations and benefits etc Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Must possess at least a Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Management or pychology with adequate training and experience in Human Resource Management (HRM). \n\u2022 The Director of Human Resource will report directly to the Director-General<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Managing the staffing programmes of the commission
\n\u2022 Directing and coordinating staff development, employee relations, compensation, safety and health
\n\u2022 Coordinating with the various institutes and supporting services for effective and efficient management of the activities of the Human Resource Directorate
\n\u2022 Providing strategic directions, having in-depth knowledge of the operation of the Commission in areas such as corporate governance, Human Resource and strategic management
\n\u2022 Enduring compliance with regulatory and statutory documents such as the Labour Act, Workman\u2019s compensation, Procurement Act, Public Financial Management Act, etc
\n\u2022 Serving as a secretary to the Appointment and Promotion Committee
\n\u2022 Any other duties to be assigned by the Director-General<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must have at least 15 years relevant experience
\n\u2022 Must have a minimum of 10 years experience at senior management level
\n\u2022 Must demonstrate knowledge and skills in Human resource management
\n\u2022 Must have good interpersonal relationship and communication skills
\n\u2022 Must not be more than 55 years<\/p>\n
