\n\u2022 Review and revise processes and procedures to enhance efficiency of access to users and systems
\n\u2022 Plan and implement regular system upgrades to enhance service continuity and user experience
\n\u2022 Create and manage multiple databases and assist in capacity planning
\n\u2022 Monitor, Maintain database systems and troubleshoot and fix problems that may arise
\n\u2022 Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of all database users)
\n\u2022 Develop strategies and implement solutions for data retention and replication to disaster recovery sites
\n\u2022 Create and manage constraints and indexes
\n\u2022 Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and creation of stored procedures
\n\u2022 Setup and maintain database infrastructure for the company`s BI needs
\n\u2022 Learn relevant business processes and understand the data flow, criticality and dependencies
\n\u2022 Effectively coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders (internal teams and vendors)
\n\u2022 Responsibility for health checks, tablespace and log management
\n\u2022 Backup & Recovery.
\n\u2022 Responsibility for providing support in Testing and Deployment of new components.
\n\u2022 Providing technical support across the Database Estate
\n\u2022 Database encryption management in line with GDPR
\n\u2022 Responsibility for Engineered Database Systems (Exadata, FusionCube, etc.)
\n\u2022 Accountable for Documentation of all changes across the Database Estate
\n\u2022 Required to take decisions best suited for the stability of the Database environment during instability.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 5+ years\u2019 experience with Oracle & MsSql Database administration & Support
\n\u2022 2-4 years\u2019 experience with database Clustering
\n\u2022 2-4 years\u2019 experience with Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (SMART)
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
\n\u2022 Ability to work well in a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environment<\/p>\n
