Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support the delivery of World Child Cancer\u2019s wider programme in Ghana<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop in collaboration with WCC and key stakeholders monthly and quarterly work plans and budget forecasts<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of workplans and budgets, communicating any significant delay or issue regarding the implementation<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in the development of strategies to achieve project aims<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Compile quarterly narrative reports<\/p>\n Communicate progress with healthcare professionals and administrative staff within the project \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support WCC\u2019s local and international partners, building strong working relationships to deliver shared goals and objectives<\/p>\n Financial Management:<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support the Finance Manager to compile quarter financial reports<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Report all expenditure to WCC, communicating in advance any significant budget variation (overspend or underspent)<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Guarantee that WCC financial procedures (as per Finance Manual) are correctly implemented<\/p>\n Monitoring and Evaluation:<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain and develop accurate schedule of activities<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop a monitoring plan and ensuring its implementation, giving regular updates<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct regular monitoring visit and external evaluations<\/p>\n Fundraising and communication:<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Identify and develop partnerships with local supporters<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the website and social media<\/p>\n Coordination and Logistics:<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinate and manage World Child Cancer\u2019s UK government funded project activities in Ghana<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitate Project Committee meetings on a quarterly basis<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Organise workshop logistics for medical and nursing staff<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Organise local and International training events including booking flights, accommodation and visas<\/p>\n Required experience: \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Post-graduate degree or equivalent experience<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Substantial experience of project management including project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and narrative and financial reporting.<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Practical experience of designing and implementing child health\/public health programmes, including experience of working with international, national and local partner organisations<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong financial background including experience managing and tracking project budgets<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good
