\n\u2022 Assists in developing and implementing curriculum
\n\u2022 Coordinates residents admission processes
\n\u2022 Provides leadership and supervision to faculty and academic staff
\n\u2022 Participates in hiring of new faculty
\n\u2022 Appraises direct reports
\n\u2022 Promotes faculty professional development, scholarship and research
\n\u2022 Participates in the development of strategic plans
\n\u2022 Reports on activities and assignments undertaken
\n\u2022 Undertakes any other duties that may be assigned by the Rector.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A professional Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Public Health Nurse or Midwife.
\n\u2022 A minimum of 15 years relevant work experience in public service of which 7 years must have been acquired at a senior management level
\n\u2022 A fellow of GCNM<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Excellent managerial skills
\n\u2022 Ability to organise workload and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
\n\u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Ability to supervise working teams
\n\u2022 Pays attention to detail
\n\u2022 Decision-making and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels
\n\u2022 Critical and analytical thinking
